Local authorities to shutdown lottery
No one cares
Written by Mandorallen

The Gaardian Lottery, which has been running for over a year at lottery.gaardian.com, and has resulted in the donation of hundreds of millions in gold, has finally met its demise when local authorities assembled to permanently shutdown the shady and unsanctioned gambling operation.

Several angry officials who were hoping to cash in their TP bonuses this year were infuriated at the injection of nearly a hundred free TP tokens. "The damage to the TP economy this lottery has caused is incalculable. Incalculatable? Incombabulatable? Whatever, it has wrecked havoc on my possible income and it must be stopped before it gets any worse!" blurted a Complaints Officer from the Office of Complaints.

Ivar, who headed the council decision to shutdown the lottery, declared that the operation would interfere with the already unbalanced daily "It doesn't take a statistical prodigy to come to the conclusion that giving away a Trivia Point token to every player and their dog is a losing proposition."blessings. "There can only be so much charity and goodwill in this game before the entire Aardwolf universe as we know it will implode upon itself!" The vote to ban the lottery resulted in a landslide, as Ivar urged his permutational siblings Ivra, Iavr, Iarv, Irva, Irav, Vira, Viar, Vair, Vari, Vria, Vrai, Aivr, Airv, Avir, Avri, Ariv, Arvi, Riva, Riav, Rvia, Rvai, Raiv and Ravi to cast their ballots.

Many were not surprised at the news. "The closure was inevitable," said Drewlin, a leading scholar of mathematics hailing from Caspia, the city of Diamonds. "It doesn't take a statistical prodigy to come to the conclusion that giving away a Trivia Point token to every player and their dog is a losing proposition."

"But I'd like to claim my token before they are closed for good," added Drewlin.
