Aylor to Institute Speeding Limits
Many MUD ruiners could be looking at hefty fines
Written by Mandorallen

Aylor officials have been receiving a significant number of reports recently of several tiers who appear to be engaged in unauthorized "speeding". Ivar, the primary authority on the matter, said that this is no new phenomenon, but that the problem is beginning to get out of hand.

Several complaints had been filed in from fellow Aylorian residents, who have protested that they've been unable to get any sleep as a result of all the death cries coming from their neighbours in the wee hours of the morning.

"The matter is far more severe in other regions of Andolor," Ivar divulged with remorse. "The average kitten in the Tree of 'Life' has a dangerously short lifespan of only three ticks before it is brutally butchered, and I regret to report that that figure is only decreasing steadily."

When news that some tiers were exceeding Any person caught levelling from 186 to 201 in less than twenty minutes shall instantly be placed in a norecall detention room filled with only no-experience mobs.1800 experience per minute during doubles, an infuriated Ivar declared that all authorities within Aylor would begin enforcing speeding limits on any visitors to the city.

The punishment for violators was not going to be light. "Anyone player caught speeding will immediately accrue a 1/2 experience penalty that will take effect during the next double that they are online for," Ivar proclaimed.

For repeat offenders, the punishment was much worse. "Furthermore, any person caught levelling from 186 to 201 in less than twenty minutes shall instantly be placed in a norecall detention room filled with only no-experience mobs."

After the new official ticketing system was announced, Andolorian citizens far and wide breathed a sigh of relief and got an extra tick of sleep before a dagger was buried deep into their backs.
