In a stunning turn of events in McDonaldland, Mayor McCheese has turned in his letter of resignation, ending decades of stability in the bountiful town. However, the more shocking news came moments later, when McCheese was spotted in Aylor, talking with Ivar and discussing various plans he had in mind. For years now, the mayor of Aylor has been a vacant position. Ever since the true mayor of Aylor was thrown into the prisons of Vlad-Shamir for numerous transgressions, such as fraud, tax evasion, smuggling drugs and firearms and soliciting prostitutes, Aylor has been run by Ivar and other "no-named" individuals.

At a recent town meeting, the vacancy was brought up, among other various topics that have been on the mind of everyone over the last few months.

"Taxes have increased substantially," said one citizen, who wished to not be revealed (his name's Numus). They continued on, saying, "I don't think things are going to get any better under Ivar."

At a recent press conference, Mayor McCheese addressed McDonaldland and laid out his new 8 year plan for decreasing the pollution while increasing cheeseburger production, consumption, and overall cheeseburger-ness of McDonaldland. Cheeseburgers or gtfo.His slogan simply read, "You Can't Have Enough Cheeseburgers!"

With this rumor in hand, this reporter went around Aylor and asked a few citizens what they thought. The question asked was, "How do you feel about Mayor McCheese running for mayor of Aylor?"

Tyebald: "I think I hate that idea more than I hate Escobar. And, boy, you don't want to get me started on how much I hate Escobar. Why, this one time, he and I were grouped, right- Oh, wait, hey, Escobar!"
Inicus: "UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Inicus Inicus Inicus."
Kelst: "no."

While he may have his detractors, a small following of supporters have emerged recently. Led by Cheezburger, they're pushing for donations to fund Mayor McCheese's lone campaign for the title.

"Ok, so he doesn't really have any opponents," says Cheezburger, "but that doesn't mean we have to sit on our hands and wait for him to literally get the position by default. We have to get his name out there. People need to know about Mayor McCheese."

In fact, they already have a slogan. When I inquired about it, they revealed the slogan on a large banner, which read:

"Cheeseburgers or gtfo."
