Representatives from both Storm Mountain and Aylor have confirmed that Storm Mountain is currently in a state of emergency, caused from rising temperatures.

"Storm Mountain must maintain a certain temperature," said the Snowman Captain earlier today to a field of reporters. "Recently, we've begun to see the temperatures creep up a little, but we were able to manage. This last week, it's gotten worse and we need help to survive."

65% of the population of Storm Mountain is made up of snow, with the rest being wildlife that depend on the snowpeople to survive. In the last few days, Storm Mountain has had a surge in deaths due to overheating, exhaustion and dehydration. Meteorologists have informed both Aylor and Storm Mountain that a massive snowstorm is on the horizon and headed towards Storm Mountain, but it will not reach for another 42-48 hours.

"A lot of the middle-aged population of Storm Mountain has died over the last 72 hours," they said, speaking on the condition of anonymity. "The worry is this will drastically effect the already weakening work-force and economy of the mountain. It doesn't help that people aren't having children as much as they used to, with the cost of living at its worst over the last 20 years. This accelerated a problem that Storm Mountain was kind of ignoring - their dwindling population."

In the meantime, Aylor and other nations have urged vacationers to stay away from Storm Mountain for the time being as they deal with this emergency.
