Pokémon Go invades Aardwolf Hold on to your Pokeballs, you're going to need them AYLOR. Following the launch of Pokémon Go across the globe, mobile developer Niantic was fast to capitalize on the vacuum of "augmented reality" games catering to MUD players. Pokémon Go has now been launched on Aardwolf, and has been gaining immense popularity with players normally accustomed to text-based visuals. Quick on the heels of the app launch, the Imm team have already issued safety notices warning players about potential health risks when playing Pokémon Go while MUDing. The hit mobile app highly encourages exploration of unfamiliar areas, which is great for getting players out of their manors and getting some real exercise for once. While the use of the 'hunt' command has skyrocketed (and is currently not condoned by the app developers), the reports are already in of unsuspecting players accidentally journeying into the Inferno, walking off cliffs, and - for some poor souls - ending up in Wyrm. Since the placement The Imm team have already issued safety notices warning players about potential health risks when playing Pokémon Go while MUDingof Pokestops are randomly distributed across Aardwolf, players have complained about being attacked in combat maze rooms, where high level tiers have planted lures, a rare community item that attracts nearby Pokémon; these lures also have the negative effect of attracting gullible clan members, who pay dearly for falling into an ambush. The Pokémon Go craze hasn't just affected players. Ivar and several council members in Cataclysm were peeved when the opening of the Great Portal ritual was recently interrupted; an invading airborne demon scout notified everyone of a nearby Wartortle raid, causing several of the invading demons to whip out their mobile devices in a Pokémon-catching frenzy. Valkur, the Demonlord, was particularly displeased, as he already had the rare Wartortle within his Pokémon collection. "If it's not a Charizard, then I'm not interested", he was heard muttering under his breath. |
