Do supernewbies dream of electric sheep? I'm attempting to find supernewbies and trying to gather information on why they stay at level 1. Is this a complete stunt or do they enjoy idling and gathering quest points ... and doing nothing with them? A few days ago I went around snooping for an answer. By definition a snewbie (super newbie) normally quests every day and never levels... or talks much. At least not to reporters. I was wandering around Aylor and came across twilight hallway. There I found a player named Daeric, a player with a number of Qps. As I tried to squeeze some answers out of him, he evaded me with smooth talking. You say, "Hey Daeric, can I ask you a few questions on this supernewbie phenomenon around Aardwolf?" (White Aura) Daeric the Swordpupil is sleeping here. As you can see he completely evades the question, which is proof that they aren't that likely to talk. Another moment comes to strike as I find myself stumbling into Watchmen's clanhall and came across another snoob, infamous for beating up tier 9s. You say, 'Omg, can I interview you about being a snoob?' Silence. You say, "How do you feel about leveling?" 30 minutes pass with no response. You say, "Why do you gather quest points and how are you able to obtain so much free time?" Omg leaves east. Another failed attempt of trying to get a hold of a supernewbie... or, perhaps, superbot? Are these players just antisocial or really bots? For who, but a robot, could be content to ignore the urge to level? More research will have to be done to shed light on this subject. You tell Omg, "Do you admit to being an idle bot or just a very anti social player? What is Your secret master plan for hoarding Qps?" |
