The proprietor of the long-defunct Snooky's Pub has been reportedly found in the Auction Halls of Aylor buying anything that looked remotely like alcohol. Bids of 100,000 gold were placed on recycled whiskey bottles containing a cocktail of orange juice and coffee.

Witnesses cited the troll as having said, "I have money to spare, so why not? It's not like my customers will notice much of a difference."

Nerthers, barkeeper at The Finishing Blow on the other side of Aylor, did not express too much concern that his rival seemed to be preparing for a huge comeback. "Business on the whole has been slow here, with adventurers preferring to drink milk or orange juice instead of a long cool one."

Teams of Gofers and Charladies have gone inactive after being sent to interview this Aylor stalwart, and rumours have been heard that the Marddok assignments may have had some role to play in the recent outcast drama at Gaardian.
