Aardwolf will be adopting a promotion/relegation system for clans. Under this system there will be four divisions. The top two divisions will have 12 clans each, the third division will have 6, and the bottom division will have 4.

The clans flagged PK will only be able to compete within their division in an attempt to balance the clan system somewhat.

At the end of each month, the top two teams from a lower division will be promoted to a higher division and the bottom two from the higher tier will be relegated to the next lowest division.

Bot League:
The highest rated division, the twelve strongest clans will fill this division. All clans in the Bot League will be flagged "Hardcore PK." These clans will be able to playerkill one another in any room of the mud aside from safe rooms.

Wannabe League:
The second division will be flagged as normal PK clans. Players in this division will be afforded all the normal perks of being in a PK clan, with the additional perk of not Outcasts will be flagged Hardcore PK, with the additional disadvantage of leaving behind a lootable corpse.being attacked by the bots in the first division.

NoPK Pussies League:
Clans in this league will be flagged NoPK and lose any privileges of being PK flagged if they had any. Players in this league may not defend their honor in clan wars and personal attacks against them are legal.

Telnet League:
Players in the bottom four clans will be forced to play from telnet for being in such terrible clans. They will have no clan equipment at all. They will have permanent half-xp, which will not benefit from double experience.

In addition to the above changes, new rules will affect members of Outcast, Loner, and non-clanned players.

Outcasts will be flagged Hardcore PK, with the additional disadvantage of leaving behind a lootable corpse.

Loners will be banned from all channels including private channels such as group and friend channels.

Non-clanned players are to be banned from benefitting in any way from the clan system, and will not be allowed to wear open clan or raided equipment.
