Pets on the Rise? Lately, there has been a tremendous number of pets being bought and reared, as reported by the Aardwolf Pets' Association (APA). The statistics from the pet shops are showing that the sales have increased by about five fold, which is substantially higher than the usual figure of 1080 a day. It is also noted that the figure is still rising constantly.
After some investigation work, it seems that since the episode with Lasher's Wonton Soup, there has been a huge number of entrepreneurs' wannabe who are trying their luck with various techniques of harvesting trash from the homes of Immortals before these "treasures" got incinerated. Immortals have been filing complaints to the Town Council after finding their house been overrun by various creatures. It is said that these creatures were scuttling about with bits and pieces of the Immortals' trash in their mouths. A few of the Immortals tried to immolate these creatures but failed and instead ended up with huge craters in their homes. Our most patient investigator followed one of these creatures from the porch of an Immortal's place to its lair. Lo and behold, it led us back to an underground area where one can find the last of the Wonton Soup available with a long queue of people... |
