This show doesn't have any ragtime in it, nor does it have any coyotes (excepting the fact that the pirate-like main characters refer to themselves as coyotes) but it's an entertaining (if short) series. The plot centres around a girl named Franca, whose father Bruce pulled off the heist of the millennium by stealing 10 billion Space Dollars from the Central Bank. Unfortunately, before he can return to the planet where he stashed the loot he is killed by the female boss of the organised crime syndicate that calls itself the Guild, Marciano.

The anime follows Franca and Bruce's former comrades as they rush across the galaxy in order to grab the cash. Just to make things interesting, the planet upon which the stuff is hidden is at war with the Federation and is scheduled to be blown up by a photon bomb in less than a week unless peace talks are successful! Not only that, but they're also being chased by Marciano (and her 12 killer robot daughters) and a cop named Angelica Barnes!

Although there are a few plot holes here and there, Coyote Ragtime Show is an entertaining series and well worth checking out.
